All CEO's and CFO's of organisations take the pulse of their business
on a regular basis and know if their business software is working effectively
or not.
If not, then it is time to make your software investment start to pull its weight in the business. Inefficient software takes time away from your managers and also your employees as they are spending time getting around the software inadequacies rather than time on running the business and making it more profitable. If you purchase the software review service, after 6 months we will spend one day free of charge to check on how you are implementing our recommendations. We may also be able to give some additional advice and tips , but it also helps us keep up to date with your business; so that in the longer term if you have any further need for software advice we think you will choose mooooch. As an introduction we are offering a free one day review of your business software, to demonstrate how we can save you time and reduce your costs by maximising the value of your software investments. The topics below cover some of the processes we go through during a comprehensive software review |

We will spend time talking to your people in a confidential and independent manner to understand your business and investigate your software issues more fully. Our recommendations will be documented in as brief a way as possible, (we don't like writing huge tomes of consultant speak and we are sure you don't like to read it either). We will then arrange a meeting to discuss our findings and following on from that meeting, revise the recommendations and put forward an action plan. Whether you wish mooooch to implement the action plan is entirely up to you, but you can rest assured it will be achievable, informative and costed if a purchasing recommendation is suggested. One of the most common complaints of business
software is ....
The information is in there, we just can't
get it out !!
We can advise on the easiest and cost effective method of extracting
and analysing your data. This may be via Microsoft Office products
(see Software Solutions
area), or through special reporting and analysis tools. One aspect a software review will examine is the use of small
databases within your organisation. As businesses grow these databases
(usually the domain of one person and not backed up on a regular
basis) become more critical over time. What eventually happens is
the person who is responsible for the database either leaves or
is on holiday and its stops functioning, resulting in the business
suffering operationally (ie time is spent working the software problem,
rather than on the business).
These databases must be brought into your mainstream systems, so there is no duplication of data (a common issue), but principally to integrate with your core database and reduce the exposure your business has to the person who has maintained this database. If this sounds familiar, we will involve the person who has built the database (after all they responded to a requirement of the business that could not be fulfilled elsewhere, more often than not through their hard work). Canvass their views on how best to merge the database within the core systems and produce an action plan for its implementation. If you purchase our Software Review service and the actions from the review show your software is working efficiently or only small improvements are required which you can put into place yourself, we will tell you how to do this. We will not try to gain extra business by making suggestions which are unnecessary. |
